For sale is an almost-brand new braille plus 18, the latest and greatest notetaker device out so far. This device is phenomenal compared to other notetakers.
It runs on a current and mainstream operating system (android) for which hundreds of off-the-shelf applications are available.
It features an erg anomic Perkins style keyboard which is not at all cluttered despite it's small size.
It's text to speech synthesizer is even more intelligible and natural-sounding than eloquence. (Note: you can also install other synthesizers that are available for android if you wish.)
It can be used as a cell phone, with calling and texting capabilities, and has build-in GPS.
It features a built-in camera for automatic OCR recognition and translation into text or braille.
You can, of course, perform all of the other functions that a standard notetaker is used for, including reading books from bookshare and NLS, browsing the web, emailing--all with a high-quality built-in eighteen-cell braille display.
This smart phone and notetaker combination has all of the accessibility features a blind person would need while being small and compact.
I love this device, and the only reason for the sale is a need to pay off some bills.
This device can be yours for $3000 or best offer, including shipping and insurance. Note: APH, the Braille Plus's manufacturer currently has this product on back order, so getting a brand new one is impossible for now. If you'd like to make the most of a modern, mainstream notetaker, grab this up before someone else does.

I'll have to post too1 so that it remains on the top, though I wish I could buy it. Sounds like a very cool device, one which I've not heard of myself. Hopefully you can find a responsible client. :)
